Ubuntu Studio 10.04 DVD Lucid (x32/x64)

Ubuntu Studio – distro GNU / Linux, based on Ubuntu, uses as the GNOME desktop environment and applications on the GTK +.First official release – Ubuntu Studio 7.04, despite numbering distribution Ubuntu (God.mesyats), released in April is not, and in May 2007.

Development of MOTU (Masters of the Universe). The aim of the project – the rapid deployment of ready-to-use photo, video, audio studio with minimal means and maximum comfort.

As part of Ubuntu Studio includes the following programs:

* Audacity – free audio files editor mutli-oriented work with a few tracks.
* Hydrogen – drum machine
* JACK-sound server daemon, which allows low-latency interconnect so-called “dzhekifitsirovannye” applications
* JAMin – Mastering tool
* LilyPond – free music notation editor
* Mixxx – program for miksovaniya music
* MusE – MIDI / Audio synthesizer using JACK and ALSA
* Rosegarden – free MIDI-sequencer, musical editor for GNU / Linux, using ALSA, JACK, and KDE, a program for creating and editing music, like Apple Logic Pro, Cakewalk Sonar and Steinberg Cubase.
* TiMidity + + – a software midi-synthesizer
* Wired

Video

* CinePaint – a program for coloring and retouching of video frames using the manager’s staff and “layers of follicles.
* PiTiVi – non-linear video editor, based on the GStreamer framework
* Kino – non-linear editor of Digital Video (DV)
* Stopmotion – a program for creating video frame by frame
* VLC media player – free (free software) player

Graphics

* Agave – application for GNOME, which creates the color scheme of one primary color
* Blender – a package for creating three-dimensional computer graphics, which includes tools for modeling, animation, rendering, post processing, as well as the creation of interactive games.
* Enblend – a tool for pasting images.
* FontForge – font editor
* The GIMP – Raster Graphics Editor
* Inkscape – vector graphics editor
* Scribus – an application for a visual layout of documents
* Synfig – program to create two-dimensional vector animation
